The old gate building was coming to the end of its life, and was replaced by portable modular facilities. This portability ensured that the site would continue to develop and expand, so that the space would not be an obstacle to new plans. The exterior walls were lined to match the adjacent building, and a pent roof was installed to give the space the appearance of a building.

Inside, there are reception and control rooms with large windows, a kitchen and break room, and toilets for staff and clients. Comfort was further ensured by two air-source heat pumps, which cool or heat the space for comfortable working or business. Ventilation was enhanced by a Mitsubishi Lossnay air handling unit with heat recovery.
